This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a photography workshop (thanks to the hundreds of votes from friends, family, clients, and strangers!). I learned SO MUCH from the renowned internationally-published photographer, JB Sallee of Sallee Photography in regards to behind the scenes business, on-location photography, and off-camera lighting. What an experience it was! I will be blogging more about my experience later but for now, I wanted to share some images of skills I learned and was so honored to photograph the lovely Lauren of Lauren Ashley Photography based in Chicago. Lauren is such a sweetheart and we had decided last-minute to carpool together in Iceland. I love Lauren's drive and passion for photography (both behind the camera as a photographer and in front of the camera as a model). Lauren goes the extra mile for the shot and I learned so much from her during our time together! <3
